Dental Hygienist

 GDC: 310690

Leena holds a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy and brings over eight years of experience in dentistry. At Veriam Dental, she provides hygiene appointments, combining a gentle, personalised approach with a passion for helping patients maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Leena believes that exceptional care begins with trust, kindness, and taking time to understand each patient. Her appointments focus on supporting gum health and providing practical advice tailored to your needs, helping you feel confident caring for your smile at home.

She has a particular interest in supporting nervous patients and understanding the psychology behind dental anxiety. By listening to each patient’s experiences and concerns, she creates a calm, reassuring environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and in control throughout their visit.

Clear communication is central to Leena’s approach. She takes time to explain her findings and recommendations, answer questions, and help patients develop effective oral hygiene habits without feeling judged or pressured. Seeing patients grow in confidence and become more comfortable with their hygiene visits is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.

Having worked in both NHS and private practice, Leena continues to develop her clinical knowledge and skills. Outside the practice, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring her interest in psychology and human behaviour.
