Normal Surgery hours:
Monday – Thursday: 8.45 am – 12.45 pm & 2.00 pm – 5.30 pm
Friday: 8.45 am – 12.45 pm
For patients registered at this practice with a severe dental emergency outside surgery hours, please telephone 111.
The following procedures may be of help for minor problems:
- Swelling over wisdom teeth – bathe the area with warm salt water, 4-5 times a day. Eat soft food on the other side of the mouth.
- Broken fillings – these will not usually cause a problem apart from feeling rough in the mouth or sensitive to hot or cold drinks. Either avoid eating on that side of the mouth or apply a temporary filling available from the pharmacy.
- Mild to moderate toothache – take paracetamol (if you are able to). Sleeping with an extra pillow at night to raise your head may help.
- Please note that lost crowns or broken dentures are not regarded as emergencies.
