Welcome to Veriam Dental Surgery

From the 19th July 2021, nothing will change at the surgery: –

  • Patients will still need to wear a face covering and socially distance and staff will continue to wear PPE.
  • Patients will still have their temperature taken and be asked to use the hand sanitizer.
  • The number of patients allowed in the waiting room will also continue to be restricted.

We do understand this can be frustrating but we feel it would be wrong not to take these small precautions to protect us all.

Covid has not gone away.

We have come so far in trying to minimise the impact of Covid and we are sure you understand the need to keep the surgery as safe as possible for ALL patients and staff. One positive case of Covid within the surgery could stop our entire workforce for 10 days. I am sure you will agree, maintaining restrictions is a small price to pay, so that we may continue with a full range of dental services and keep our doors open.

Many Thanks.

May we extend a warm welcome to our practice.

I qualified from Manchester University in 1981 and have worked in the Maybush area of Southampton since 1990. I am very fortunate to have wonderful help from several part-time staff who have remained with me for many years.

We take great pride in the quality of our dentistry and want to make your visit to us a pleasant experience. We appreciate that you may be apprehensive about a dental visit. Our aim is to achieve good dental health for you and your family through  preventative dentistry in a relaxed environment. By taking the time to provide you with regular dental advice we can help you understand how to take better care of your teeth yourself.

Our range of treatments include: preventative care, tooth coloured fillings, whitening, crowns, bridges, root canal treatments, extractions and denture work. Patients may be referred to specialists for orthodontic work or complex surgical treatment.

Dentistry has made great progress in techniques and filling materials in recent years and with increased awareness of the causes and prevention of tooth decay and gum disease many people now keep their teeth for life.
